John (15) and Michael (14) Baladez

Representing the Austin, TX Police Athletic League (PAL) Boxing Club.

Both attend Austin H. S. and have been boxing under the guidance of Inez Guerrero since of the ages of 8 and 9.

Both of these athletes won their respective weight categories at the regional tournament this year. John boxes in the 114lb division and Michael boxes in the 110lb division.

Foul Play Suspected In Gatti's Death





Arturo Gatti was found dead of an apparently violent death at just 37 years old in the early morning hours of Saturday in a hotel in Brazil, where he reportedly was celebrating his second honeymoon.



It was needless and tragic, as is the death of any young person.
